  • What would be a good start for this kind of water?

    Good morning!

Yesterday, I tried to simulate a water scene, which looks like the attached picture, but I didn't get the desired result.

    What would be your approach?

Thank you VERY much in advance!

    Greetings,

    Dennis

in the attachment i have prepared simple starting scene, a non solid source, geometry, the advection changed to forward transfer, looks better with it.

      Thanks for your help, Ivaylo.

But: When I open the scene, it looks like the attached picture. When I start the simulation, nothing happens.

        is the time slider moving?

edit: i just saw the barrel icon of the source, this means your phoenix is too old and does not support per object properties, that are used to make the non solid source.

Oh sorry, I really thought I would use the current version. I'll check that out.

In the meantime, I copied your PhoenixFD Settings into my scene from yesterday. I guess, I can work / learn with that. Thank you so much!
