I experienced some very strange behaviour when using the time scale attribute whilst looping a 200 frame cache with a ten frame overlap.
The resulting render looked like it was just alternating between frames, no blending at all. I tried both blending methods and there is a velocity channel in the cache.
I haven't had a chance to look into this further or reproduce it but just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone else has experienced the same.
