  • Install problem... "Cannot find procedure"

I had Phoenix 2.2 for Maya installed and working. I updated to the latest nightly (7/7/2015) and now I can't get Pheonix to work. The install goes off without a hitch, but there's no Phoenix menu in Maya now (i've triple checked I'm using the right installer). The shelf is still there but when I try to create a simulation I just get this error:

Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "phxfdCreate3DSimulator".

Thoughts? Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help.

    Hello,

In the Plug-in Manager, is the plugin loaded?

Then it's easy - it's not installed properly for some reason.

Right... but there's no error during installation. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work and restarting doesn't work. So. I'm kind of all out ideas and no time to troubleshoot so I'm just going to reinstall Maya totally and see if that helps.

Dropped back to July 4th nightly. All is working again. Carry on!

Would you please let us know the exact name of the installation file you've installed which didn't work?
Let us also know V-Ray and OS versions that you are using.

Thank you very much in advance.
