adaptive grid

First look at doing an explosion, the trail particles work with the adaptive but the shockwave emission stops at the original boundary. Screen shot below showing this. I have been changing the threshold but no different. What am I missing?

Actually ignore this it does work, just not showing the colour value past that point.
