  • My foam wont go away

Currently doing a flush-animation and ofcourse I want foam. My issue is that when the water is lying still the foam is still there. I have even tried lowering the halflife to 0,01, with no help. Is there something im missing?

can you show a video? if the halflife is 0.01 it should disappear immediately, but the half life works only if the foam is on the surface, not under the water.

okay, so that is probably the problem. So the solution would be to make sure it just stays on top?

as a quick cheat for now could you have a foam shader for above water and then have one for underwater... animate the size down to 0 from a given point? This is theory, whether it works I don't know Depends whether the sub groups work in the newer core and if the size parameter is animate-able.

well, it usually goes to the surface, unless some obstacle or down going flow or something like that is present. perhaps too low rising speed? if your simulator is very big sized, the rising speed is small, because the initial value is a constant - 10 scene units.
