  • Sticky does not stick

Hi We are pouring paint on moving objects but it all comes off even with sticky set to 1.

is there anyway to have sticky even stickier. Also when some particles do stick not many though paint jitters very fast instead of just staying on a moving object.

Ok I did some tests and even when sticky set to 1 on stationary objects all mesh falls down. And I noticed tiny red dots are left behind. So this effect can only be rendered with Vray? Old Phoenix 2.2 mesh would stay when wetting was on.
We use Octane and it needs 3d mesh. How can we render paint left behind since it all falls down ?
    Thank you

Yes, this is the expected behavior. if you have no viscosity (i cant see it) the sticky effect just slows down the liquid when it propagates, but does not hold it, this is because the mesh looks ugly over the wet area. The standard rendering of the wetmap is based on material blending, not on meshing. When the viscosity is enabled this is already different, the liquid can be totally stuck.
