Greetings,
Testing nightly build 1607026847 with Max 2017 and Vray 3.40.02.
Working on ocean simulation, and trying to save time by developing the base cache first, then resimulating the spash and foam, etc.
Documentation says to specify the base simulation cache in the "Input Simulation Path", and to specify the "Output Simulation Path" for the output cache files, and that by default "_resim" will append to the end of the file name. I guess this was all based on the old resimulation dialog.
Example: my base files are stored on a server drive with a filename: "a_0000.aur".
I go to the "Input" dialog and browse and select the first "a_0000.aur". Note: If I change the "Input" location to a filename that does not exist, then "No Frame Loaded" appears, so that part is working correctly.
I then go to the "Output" dialog and browse and define a new filename "resim_0000.aur".
When I start the resimulation, Phoenix gives an error "Can't load the Resimulation source file!".
If I change the "Output" to use the original "a_0000.aur" then the resimulation executes okay, but over writes the base files without the "_resim" append (perhaps this is obvious since the filename is the same as the "Input").
Hope this is helpful,
Ron Porter
