  • Particles fall through object

In this simulation i am having the hands hit the ledge and create a dust of particles. it seems that the particles are falling through the ledge and some others are not. does this have to do with cell size? It is currently out a low value in cm.

i suppose they are simple drag particles?
what actually you are trying to do?

The hands are jumping from one building to the next, the jumper lands hand first on the ledge. Kicking up dust ( attempt to mix the elements better) want to kick ups some dust.

        i see, now
the particles should not enter the geometry, here is my suggestion:
        - be sure that circumscribed voxelization is used (interaction panel)
        - close the geometry, in general it's better to simulate with closed geometry objects
