    The "Simulation panel" stays sometimes active, even after a "Scene Reset"! The only way to get rid of this panel is to close and open Max again. This happens when playing around with different scenes. In such a case, the preview also stops working.
    This is the screen shot right after "Reset" when nothing is selected:

    Roger that - the Simulation panel was supposed to stay 'pinned' while a simulation runs, but newer version 3ds max could not handle cases such as resetting properly, so this was dropped for 3.0 and replaced by a text indication. Thanks for reporting that!

      I would also pay special attention on max2017 (Qt..). Some dialog things behave different, others don't work anymore. AD created tickets. I am going to wait for SP4 until I'll use Max2017..
