  • Bodyforce Shape "boolean" problem

I am trying to get my head around Adam Trower's wondeful bodyforce demo - and I'm trying to take his scene apart to understand it (I've not rally done much with Phoenix)

however, as you can see from this example image (and related scene)

when I use a separate object as a bodyforce shape, that shape seems to cut out or boolean the other shapes.

why is my shape performing a seeming boolean operation, while the others aren't?

Your teapot is a solid object, need to untick the solid object in Phoenix object properties

You are a star, thanks very much.

One other question - on the first emitter, the brush force option... does that make sure the particles are emitted within the object, not from the surface?

Yup, that' it Volume Brush or Volume Inject affect the volume, while Surface force is for the surface..
