    How can I extend the foam and splashes to last longer on the wave the yacht create?

        Yeah and make sure u export age channel.
        I just can't seem to trust myself
        So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

          I Have increased the half life value and I exported the age channel, since there, it seems working well, but I'm still simulating it.

          Is there a way to extend patterns, or foam to the wave boat generate? it's a bit to unreal that foam/splashes didn't interact with them.

            Hi,
            try decreasing velocity threshold in Foam rollout menu. I think it's too high now and foam is born where the velocity is quite high. And keep in mind that when you decrease vel. threshold, foam amount gets bigger. So you can reduce it to optimize rendering time.

              Ok I will try to reduce it a bit, Still trying to find a good setup.

              I have another issue, How can I reduce the flying foam particel that you can see here in green?

                as far as I understood it's by raising the "falling speed", but I have the same problem in the sim I do right now (but less particles flying around)

                    Yes they are the green one, do I have also to try to decrese the rise speed?

                      Ok I did a test all night I increased to falling speed from 2 to 6 and what I optained it's even worst!

                      foam particel are flying all around, and that's the opposite I would have.

                      What's wrong?

                          I will, But I do need to produce a good simulation before monday, so I can't continue testing to many different parameter!
                          A whole simulation will last at least 72 hour, it's 20 days that I'm trying to convert my setting into the new version, but sadly it seems we are still far away....

                          I'll keep you updated.

                              I have done another test with falling speed set at 500, but it continue not to work as you supposed, particell are flying in air very high.
                              Rise speed was set at 1, now I tried to decrese it at I had before at 0,1, will see.

                                Did you install a new build since the last time you simulated? If you go back to the previous falling speed, is it better? Can you attach the scene (or a simplified version of it that still has the same issue) so I can see what's wrong and get back to you?
