  • Ocean Beach boiling bubles problem

    Hi,
we simulate a ocean beach right now, but we always have some water "boiling" Problems, visible in the Video on the top left between Frame 14-20, for example. How can we solve (avoid ) that ?

And we got some blue particles sometimes, for example Frame 10 mid left area, do you know the reasons for that ?

    thank you for your help,

    best regards
    chris

    Hi,
can you upload some video because it's hard to understand the problem from 2 pictures.

I think he means splash/foam/drag particles moblur, that is sometimes just weird.
About blue tint - just turn it off (uncheck the phxwater as liquid geo) in foam shader.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Maybe not checked velocity for secondaries? That's if it is a motion blur thing .. anyway definitely need to see this video

i think it's in the water, not related to the splash, there is clearly visible upward movement, like a sub surface upward jet

I canĀ“t upload the clip, the website always says "invalid File". Tried with edge and Opera.

            here is a onedrive link:

Do you have a solution for that ? We did not build upward jets or anything else, no animated objects in the scene.

                Hi,
check your geometry - it should be closed and If you used plane geometry then make it solid. Hope that will help : )

that is weird, happens all over, splash threshold too low?

Have you solved the blue color in the foam? I had a similar issue previously where the foam would render blue on restore frames when motion blur was active and I solved it by reducing my HDRI lighting to a hemisphere instead of a complete sphere. Strange issue that I've only seen once but it looked very similar to your screenshot.
