So I am using a basic cigarette smoke sim with a line force to guide the smoke - but I would like to be able to control the colour better - but I only seem to be edit a basic colour from the Particle Shader object....

In the rendering settings on the sim there re all sorts of options, and I know it's something to do with having the correct smoke channel, but I am having trouble understanding it.

Could someone help point me in the right direction?

Also - second question - how do I increase the amount of smoke particles so it's thicker?

    Hey,

Are you using the cigarette smoke preset? In this case, all the rendering is controlled by the Particle Shader, so you can increase the amount of particles using the Count Multiplier option.

Right now a limitation of the Particle Shader is that all the particles it renders are just a single color. I hope we can get to implement coloring by RGB soon, but until then the only thing you can try is to use several shaders that shade several mixing particle systems, each one having a separate color, like this: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...nes-Inkinwater

    Cheers!
