Benchmark scene?

Hey everyone, when I follow along with the tutorials I notice that my simulations are SIGNIFICANTLY slower than what is being shown (not the actual video, I know it gets fast-forwarded, but the time elapsed)

Can anyone share a a scene with relatively simple and short simulation along with how long it took?

I would greatly appreciate this!

I am currently using:
i7 3930k
32gb ram
2 x gtx980

Hey,

The CPU and RAM should be sufficient, the GPU does not matter for the sims, but make sure your caches are saved to an SSD and that your bus speed is the best possible, as this is a common bottleneck. Search the forums and the docs for more info on the hardware setup - the topic comes up often and we've talked about it many times
