  • Problems with more than one emitter and animation too.

Hi! I'm having issues trying to use more than one emitter, like for example on the wine scene, if I want to add an emitter for the bottle the emitter does not work, also on the new sample scene for V3, if I animate the object that the water fall into, the water does not follow the animation, if just get cut by the container object, see the attached scene.

Here is a link for the wine scene, for some reason I can't attach it to the message.

I just tried to add a simple emitter on top of the bottle, and it does not work. I also see that it seems that now the initial volume fill up can be an object right? I can't find any differences between the wine setup and the attached scene, basically when I move the object on the "basicLiquids" example scene, the liquid inside of the bottle I have in there does not follow the bottle motion, it just get cut off by the geometry.

Hope is a simple thing that I'm not nailing.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello,

In the WineB scene the source is not working because the wine bottle simulator's interaction is set to Include mode. This mode is set because the two simulators must mutually exclude each other and one of them has to be in the default Exclude mode, while the other is set to Include mode, otherwise you'd get a circular reference error. In this case you have to manually add all objects that should interact with the bottle sim - both the source and the sphere.

I think the issue with the 'basicLiquids' scene is the same as in the other thread?

    Cheers!
