  • weird chocolate effect

I was trying to follow the Phoenix chocolate tutorial but now with Phoenix 3 I seem to be getting a more crusty frosting effect...I am working in millimeters which might be the problem, but i thought i made things large enough... am I doing something wrong in my settings?

looks like the emitter thickness is comparable with the particle size, in this case is very easy to drop the particle connections and to get the effect similar to the showed one.
the best solution is to increase the resolution and perhaps the spf too

      Hi,
you can use Chocolate quick preset and see its settings for reference.

Oh cool, I didn't realize there was a preset, I must have missed it! I will check those settings. Thanks!

Thanks guys, got it workign well enough now. I think it came down to my scene also being in millimeters, i changed it to CM and scaled things up a bit as well, made the emitter larger, that all helps a lot too. Edt: I also think my velocity was set way too low, I increased it about twice, using surface force, that seemed to make it flow a lot better also.
