  • Two problems with water

    Hi again!

    I'm trying to get some good-looking ship wake with Phoenix FD, but I'm not getting it right.

    First, I tried following the ship wake tutorial on YouTube for Phoenix FX 2. The water looks great, but the foam dissipates almost immediately. I wonder if this could be a units thing? My Max has system units set to cm, while the tutorial use meters. Could that be an issue?

    Second, instead of learning the basics through a tutorial, I thought I'd just use the excellent presets instead. But that didn't even render!     Any clue on why this would happen?

    Hey,

    Which version are you using? Did you try a latest nightly build?

    If this still doesn't work, please send the scene over to Support. Are you using a Physical camera, or a dome cam, etc?
