  • 10m/s wind not having much of an effect.

I've added a PlainForce with a strength of 10m/s (I assume it's per second) and it's not doing much at all. Is plainforce the right object?

    Hey,

Here's what units the plain force is in https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...%7C+PlainForce

    Cheers!

In general, unless you are certain that there is a bug or something you'll need programming help with, just a couple of shots with the settings and how the scene looks would be enough so we can help you set up your scene

        Hi,

I've tested the attached scene and noticed that there are active Turbulence, Vorticity, Randomize, Source Noise - all these options add different forces/velocities and it's hard to say what's going on. And the Plain Force's Drag parameter was 0.1 which is not enough to overwhelm all velocities (from docs: Drag | drag ? Specifies a value between 0 and 1 to determine how much of the existing velocity will be negated over the period of 1 second. ). That's why I begin to reduce and disable some of this options until Plain Force became visible (@Strength=1000 and Drag=0.7). I'm attaching the scene back again to see the result and you can play with the settings to achieve the desired result or just experiment with them.
