  • CAP MESH Mode Problems.

I was wondering why do i get the mesh coming up on the border of the grid.
I'm using the cap mesh mode in the rendering panel.
and i have an initial fill up of 20 with fill up for ocean checked (strangely when i don't check this box, the liquid doesn't stay in the volume, and it's "going down" like it's disapearing

    Hey,
Make sure that your Ocean level in the Rendering rollout is around the same value as the Initial Fill Up value (you can set it to 20 and it should be good).

        oh thanks a lot
any idea why if fill up for ocean is not checked the volume of particle are emptying itself ? just like if there was a hole in the bottom face of the grid ?

What Fill up for Ocean does is to change the border conditions of the simulator walls so that they would act like there is an infinite liquid volume beyond them. Pressure would be created at the simulator walls in order to support the liquid, and if the surface of a wall below the Initial Fill Up level or the bottom is cleared from liquid during simulation, new incoming liquid would be created.
