  • Ocean Mesh water inside simulation grid is darker/reflects less

    Hi,

I'm currently working on a scene with a tug that is towing a barge.

The problem I am having is that you can clearly see the grid by the color of the ocean. I have taken out a few pictures so that you can see what I'm talking about, I also rendered out a picture without any displacement from the oceantex. The problem by the looks of is some additional 'noise' caused by the simulation itself and that is causing a different reflection surface compared to outside.

Any tips that I could use to combat this issue?

Edit: I should say I tried to up the subdivs, that helped a little, but not a lot.

I have still not found a solution to this, I tried to render frame one before everything started to some, this is the same camera with displacement multiplier set to 0 and 1. Any tips?

      Hey,

For now only increasing the ocean subdivs is the way to go with this case...

Well. If u see one of the borders clearly - check grid rotation. Should be none.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
