  • Phoenix fd and BSOD

Hi recently I've been getting PC reboots or BSOD when phoenix simulates especially after around 50 frames and simulating around 50 mil grids. CPU temperatures look normal.

What can it be? It seems like it got worse after new windows 10 update Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803
    Thanks

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xfffff80300000000, 0x0000000000000010, 0xfffff80300000000, 0x0000000000000002).

bsod indicates a hardware issue. Can you check if your cpu is undervolted? I recall some cpu might need a bit more voltage.

There seems to be a bug from long time ago. After resuming it said 2 days left . So after restarting 3ds max it says 5 hours left. pausing and resuming slows down the simulation

Hey, logged the time left issue - I also saw that pausing and resuming kept counting time.

Regarding the BSOD, definitely update your video drivers and run a memtest on your RAM.

          Cheers!
