Understanding jammed/open grid

Hey there,

I´m getting very different results when simulating a water source with and without jammed borders...

Here is jammed:



And here is open:



I need the grid to be open on at least one axis, so how do I get a continuos flow like when the borders are jammed?
I´ve gotten close with higher step number, but of course that increases simulation time a lot and smooths the simulation unnecessary.

Hey,

This is a bug with adaptive grid we caught after the release of 3.11. Please update to a latest nightly.

The reason you relate it to the jammed/open walls is that jammed walls do not adapt.
