Hello - we will be looking at expanding the options for activating and freezing the Active Bodies during the simulation.
Meanwhile, you can already achieve the delayed AB activation effect in the current PhoenixFD version - if you set "Original body influence" from the Phoenix Object Properties to be 1 and the AB original is not moving, this will force the AB clone to not move as well. Then animate the orig. body influence to 0 in the frame when you want the AB clone to start being influenced by the fluid.
