  • fuel channel in PhoenixFDTexmap

I assume it could visualize pressure for liquid, is that right?

I am not sure i understood the wish correctly. But having access to the simulated channels directly rather than only the render channels would indeed be nice

          I will explain:
Last night i've done a liquid simulation - after that i saw a nice visualisation of something like pressure in fuel channel preview (two colours used) - i've thought "cool - lets render it" - i started to set up a liquid material but after creating a texmap i've found there is no fuel channel in the list - so i was unable to render corresponding visualisation.

well, now is clear the viewport visualization is made with the assumption to give information about the physical channels, not for the rendering. of course you can achieve similar rendering appearance if you set as diffuse color gradient the same color ramp like in the viewport.
@thorsten - no doubt about this, just question of time
