  • OpenCL Power

    Hello,

I saw some days ago a Fluid simulator for Blender wich use OpenCL. It's so fast !!
somes undreds thousands particules at 40fps with a GTX480 !

Could you add openCL power for the simulation ?

Phoenix FD does not use particles, but yes we are looking into GPU acceleration.

    Best regards,

With Cubix Xpander and Phoenix FD with GPU acceleration, we could having the faster fluid, smoke, fire solver !!
Can't wait to put hands on it !!

          Glu3D GPU is released today.
PhoenixFD have a lot more features for sure, but Glu3D GPU is very fast vs phoenix FD for simple simulation that we can see in most Motion design .

I wish to see phoenix FD playing with multiGPU to simulate liquide and more !!

          And happy new year

Well, Glu3D works with particles, so it's easier for them But I know what you mean and we'll see what can be done.

            Best regards,
            Vlado

              But no viewport preview. Sadly
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Glu3D is very basic. But i think this simplicity can be very productive in many case .
