  • splash and foam simulation directly from particle flow

When I working with phoenix and liquids, I cant get realy hyperrealistic look for zoomed detailed shots for now. So it will be super cool if we can simulate particles inside for example realflow, import it to particle flow, which is working perfectly and on top of them we can start phoenix splash and/or foam simulation. For me is the foam simulation in phoenix realy is the best what is now on the market, and if we could combine it with particle simulation not only from phoenix sim, it will be realy the super great tool. And I know that phoenix is not particle simulator but maybe the angoritms can be reused also for particle sims. Thanks a lot

you can select a pf system as source, and to birth particles (foam, splash or simple drag) by the pf particles. this is not exactly the same, but can help i think

I am not sure if i undestand. You mean select a pf system as source in PHX foam object? If yes this will work only for render but not for simulation or movement.

no, select it as source in the source helper (the barrel)
