  • Particle display properties in Viewport

For now the Particles for Foam and Splashes are so small that somtimes there are barely visible in the Viewport. Could we have some display properties like dot size or even some display types like in pflow?
I could imagine that e.g. a circle shape for Foam would be really cool especialy if there size also represents the actual bubble size.

the idea of the phoenix particles is to drive millions of them, and because of this the fastest solution is implemented.
perhaps some option may be added

Ahh.. i see. Well of course the performance shouldn't suffer from that. If there is some way it would be cool, it is more of a nice to have thing.

This is implemented in Maya with no performance cost. We must see if there is a way to do this in 3ds Max also, since it's more restrictive then Maya in this aspect.

MAX version bugs sometimes too. The particle dots changes to two or three times bigger and are useless when I got 100 000+ of them. Reboot helps, though I havent debug this any further.

yes, this is a known issue, but still can't say what causes it
