It would be an incredible time saver if we could simulate and resimulate foam over the water sim. Or independently from water sim. For example we could sim only the water without foam. And when we get a good result for our water, we could simulate only the foam. So we could try may iterations for the foam only to get what we want and hopefully it would simulate way faster if we ca simulate only the foam.

You can REsimulate foam and splashes independently from the liquid. You need to simulate the liquid once (with or without foam and splashes), and then just enable particle resimulation and start it - the liquid will remain as it is, but you can enable foam, splashes or both and only they will be simulated.Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead

I resimulated like 80 frame and then pressed on stop. I then tried later to restore the resim (I think I crashed and reopen the scne inbetween) but the resim just strated from frame 0 instead of restoring. Is this possible to restore a particle resim?
