    Just stumbled on this super cool feature, is this possible in PhoenixFD? If not, maybe think about some kind of process like that.
    The concept is it only needs a small volume box and tracks with the objects so you don't have to make a huge volume box for larger movements.

    we have it long time ago , this video is using it
    this feature was introduced in the very first version of phoenix in order to simulate moving fireballs and torches that travel long distance, but works great for water as well

      Awesome! So I just parent the volume to whatever and keep boundaries open?

        yes, that's all you need
        but you need nightly build access, in the official release there is a bug related to the turns in the object trajectory.

            in both of them, by default this is enabled, the option that controls it is called "inertial forces"
