flip solver with attraction

yes, it is.
in the official released version the attraction is per body parameter, that was changed in the nightlies, because we released that without animation the feature is hard to use.
as i see in the other thread, you have the official version, right click over the object and select phoenix fd menu, this will pop up the phoenix fd per object dialog.

is the Flip solver thingy this new Narrow band thing i`ve seen anounced ? quicker and less particles or something. i`m sure it`s all very technical.

It's the opposite - the narrow band thing is a modified version of a FLIP solver. We've seen it and it sounds like an interesting idea to try out
