  • Smoke Opacity dialog / nightly build

    big wishlist..

    A) please add <Shift> or <Alt> for orthogonal movement of the selected dots (similar to e.g PS) Makes it easier to move the points around..
    B) please activate the <TAB> key to the input fields right below the dialog.
    C) add a spinner control to the input fields
    D) also add everything also to the "Expand" window..

    thx in advance

Alright, thanks! Will add these to the curve/gradient TODO list.

      thx.
      One additional wish:
When I select several dots in the gradient dialog and then press RMB, the selection of the curve mode should be applied to all selected points.

        Hello abri,

        A) please add <Shift> or <Alt> for orthogonal movement of the selected dots (similar to e.g PS) Makes it easier to move the points around..
I was thinking something like this: "Shift + MouseMovement", this will lock the movement only in one axis, so if you start moving horizontally the point wont be able to move vertically.

        D) also add everything also to the "Expand" window..
Could you be a bit more specific?

When I select several dots in the gradient dialog and then press RMB, the selection of the curve mode should be applied to all selected points.
This works fine for me(as long as the mouse isn't over a point, if it is then yes, only the point that is under the mouse gets changed)? Does this feel unintuitive?

Everything else is in our to-do list.

          perfect!
btw: this should also work the same, when multiple points were selected.

I meant the popup window, which shows when pressing the <Expand> button..

hmm. then maybe my mouse cursor was always above a point.. I have to check this again..

About the last point, I think it would be more intuitive to change all selected points no matter if you have clicked one or not.

I agree with you. I did not recognize that I'm over a point..

btw: when you select and move the tangent handles of a bezier, it would also be nice to have the <SHIFT+MouseMovement> feature..

@abri Yea, that shift thing while moving is going to be applied to all point types.
