    Hi Are any plans to also have phoenix to generate clouds etc from meshes like in this video and not be bound by the grid so you can have hundreds of clouds scattered and not have a mile long grid box and can be rendered by different renderers thank you

    Phoenix FD relies on the grid, for this case though we will implement instancing so you will be able to scatter a lot of instances of the cache and get a bed of clouds like result.

      So you mean the result of a sim from a smaller grid scattered within a lager grid?

        I mean that you can simulate a grid and scatter instances of it using particle systems. This is still yet to be implemented though.

          Great news on the instancing I currently duplicate grids as Copy as they used to crash when using instance, unless that is fixed now? Was a long time ago since I tried it.
