With a backup interval of 15, it seems to backup on global multiples of 15 without regard of the sim start time so if a sim starts at frame 13, frame 15 is still the first backup frame. It might be more useful if it was counted from the sim's start.

Good point! Will have to think about it though - can't decide if this way it would be better, or being able to always tell that no matter when you start the sim, frame e.g. 60 or 75 will always be backup frames.

If anyone has a preference on how to make this, I'm counting votes

My vote goes to the old way. Backup interval based on the scene frame, not dependent where the simulation starts.
It's just easier when you don't need to calculate it. (...simulation started at frame 42, so is this frame 187 now back up frame or not...).

I opt for the current way, same reasons as Lasse!

@LarsSonparsson Don't you still need to calculate it with the current method? You would have to find all multiples of 15 - or are you just saying it's easier to calculate?

Thats true. I still need to calculate it, but it is easier when the backup frames are always the same ones. Or if you set the backup interval to 20, it's even easier.

Certainly if most people like the current method, it should stay how it is. It just didn't seem intuitive.
