  • Volumetric Render Settings

Can you make some video tutorials about Volumetric Render Settings options. It is confusing. What makes fire created using your presets have no smoke unlike when I create my own fire using PhoenixFD fire I have smoke. Not sure if Volumetric Render Settings even work with other renderers

    Thank you

    Hey,

If you set the smoke opacity to 0 or the smoke channel to Disabled, it would not render.

Other renders than V-Ray and Scanline are currently not officially supported - unless we implement support for a renderer specifically, other renderers would not be able to use the Volumetric Options of Phoenix and will have to provide their own rendering settings.

Hope this helps! Check the help docs and if you find anything unclear, ping us.

    Cheers!

Also, turn stuff off/on or put silly high/low values for parameters and learn what they do... the best way to learn
