I intend to write some tools for my pipeline but I'm a newbee to scripting and some more examples would be great.

What syntax would i use to submit my grids to simulate using BackBurner or DeadLine?
Are there any specific parameters that I should be aware of? (only submit single frame)

Both Phoenix for Max and Maya have their submission MaxScript and MEL code public, so you should start by having a look at it. It's in the respective Max and Maya installs
