  • Phoenix FD and Display Units

Hi We like to use meters as display units and not generic units. Problem is phoenix changes generic units to meters making it difficult to work with. For example, foam rising speed changed from 10 to 0.254 m because display units were switched to meters. Can you please add a check box to ignore display units and keep phoenix native units. Plus your manual uses generic units and it is easier to follow than trying to convert meters back to generic units. This applies to outgoing velocity in phoenix source, discharge etc Thanks

    Hey,

It doesn't matter to Phoenix how you view units, and Phoenix does not change them - what you saw is handled automatically by 3ds Max. For exmaple, if you now switch to display as CM, 0.254 would become 2.54 automatically.

    Cheers!
