  • Only add mesh to the top layer of grid

Hi anyway to have mesh added to the top of the grid or at least remove the bottom? We cannot have a grid all the way to the floor because it is too slow to calculate so we have a thin grid to simulate as a surface of the water. Anyway to remove the bottom part of the mesh to make it look like water is to the floor. Thanks

    Hello,

You can try using the Cap Mesh mode from the Rendering rollout. This will make only the top of the simulator box to be meshed. Additionally the Ocean Mesh mode will extend that mesh outside the simulator to fit the camera's view and you can also apply displacement to the extended mesh.
You can read more about that here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ing-Parameters.

No, no - the 3 mesh modes don't depend on the renderer
