  • Air bubbles

Can phoenix already create giant bubbles of air in the liquid like Houdini does https://player.vimeo.com/video/241555238
Also any plans still for the narrow band solver? Thanks

    Hey,

I'd rather not comment on features of other software.

    Cheers!

Thanks. I was just wondering is there a way to pump air into the water using methods that phoenix already has. We have underwater volcano and we need large air bubbles to go up Thanks

Sure, you can try the method from this video: https://vimeo.com/115254036

In order to make the bubbles hollow, you can check 'Invert Liquid Volume' in the Rendering rollout.

        Hope this helps!

A few years ago Ivaylo showed me this method, but I'm not sure it can be done now with the flip fluid solver.

I have not had a chance to test but is this possible now with flip Svetlin?

            Hey,

This won't work with FLIP now.

Pity, it was a great solution back then, work very well for what I needed.
