  • PHXfoam Particle age, negative frames

    Morning

Could the Particle Age option for the PHX Foam respect minus ranges? For example I have simmed foam particles born via a liquid source starting at frame -30. I want to actually render from frame 0 and have animated the size parameter of the PHXFoam over frame 0-10 to go from 1 to 0 with PA checked. The first few frames rendered do not take into account particles born in negative frames in terms of their size. The particles born in negative frames will have a value of 1 and not reduce size over 10 frames.

Shall have a quick go in a test scene to see if it is anything to do with my production scene.

Hope I've explained that well enough

    Ultra basic scene:

Any frame rendered in the minus range all particles have size of 1. Render in positive frames it works correctly with particles born on frame 0 and after.

    Thanks

No problem, thanks... I've worked around if by offsetting the animation
