I just noticed this new checkbox under "Global switches"

What does it do?

I guess its just the same as the options in VolumeGrid in environment tab.

Indeed, it's moved from the Atmosphere to the V-Ray options, so it can affect Phoenix and the VolumeGrid at the same time, as well as other volumetrics in the future.

Btw, do you still have those options in te Atmosphere rollout, or are they gone from there now?
