    ok so ive been playing some more.. ive got a phoenix fire/smoke setup with some tyflow particles thrown in:

    cpu IPR: neither fire nor tyflow particles show in the render

    cpu final render: neither fire nor tyflow particles show in the render

    gpu IPR: both show in render, but if i enable motion blur, the opacity of the fire/smoke is messed up

    gpu final render: all works as expected.



    thankfully gpu final render works, because i tried going back to vray5, , and got a ton of crashes trying to modify the phoenix volumetric shading with gpu IPR...


    i can send a file if required.

      I played with a 'Burning Fuel' sim today and it would not render. The simulation looked normal in the viewport, but no renderer would render the simulation. All that would render was the base geometry sphere that I used. I saved the file, uninstalled Beta 6, reinstalled VRay 5 and it rendered perfectly.
