  • Errors with TX textures ("Could not read/write file type")

Since the last 2 builds I'm getting "Could not read/write file type" when I have TX textures in my scene. Please see below. The path in the error message is reachable by Windows Explorer and the texture opens fine in Max and when converted to TIF by renaming it.

Hm, can't reproduce it here. Is it happening on any scene? What Max version is this?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Yes, this has happened on more than one scene. I'm using Max 2023.1

The thing is, this message window is handled by 3ds Max and V-Ray doesn't write anything "ours" there.
