With Vray 3.6 in 3ds Max 2019, after installing the Cloud Client, the cloud render button isn't in the toolbar, even after restarting the machine and also attempted reinstalling of the client.

      V-Ray Cloud won't be in 3.6. It's only in V-Ray Next

Seems to work like a charm now!. I'm super curious about the pricing. Is there anything out yet?

ah this looks interesting. the page on the site is misleading and makes it look like some sketchup only thing?

The FAQ is also a bit misleading https://vray.cloud/faq/which-3d-appl...y-v-ray-cloud-
WHICH 3D APPLICATIONS ARE SUPPORTED BY V-RAY CLOUD?

V-Ray Cloud is available for all 3D applications supported by V-Ray via vrscene file export (e.g. V-Ray for Cinema 4D). Though in an early beta stage, V-Ray Cloud also integrates directly with V-Ray for SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, 3ds Max, Modo, Blender, Houdini and Maya.
Since 3.6 can export vrscene I assumed it would work. I was able to force it by maually uploading a vrscene and maps but obviously the script/button is not working.

              www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

                Hello everyone,

Thanks for the follow-up! Still can't share any details about pricing. We have several options which are being discussed but nothing is decided yet. I'm sorry I can't be more specific right now.

With respect to the discrepancies between the FAQ and the How-To pages this is due to the fact that some of the integrations with the host apps are only available as Beta versions. We'll add them to the How-To page as soon as they become official versions. You are right that you can use the V-Ray exporter and submit vrscene files manually.

                Best regards,

                  Hi Vladi,
the setup runs without any issue but when i try to submit a simple scene to test the rendering, a browser window opens and i have to enter my login data, after that nothing happens here and the browser window is empty. I think my problem here is the proxy server configuration or some sort of corporate network restrictions. Do you have any idea to solve that?

                  Best regards,
                  Ralf

Fixed it. With Chrome everything works fine just the Internet Explorer makes problems.

                    Best regards,
                    Ralf

                      Hi Ralf,

I'm sorry for the late reply. It's great that you have fixed it. If you have issues because of proxy settings, the best way is to remove them if you don't need this proxy to access the Internet. Else you can add your proxy settings to the V-Ray Cloud client app when you install the V-Ray Cloud client app as shown in this GIF: https://gyazo.com/adbde50720685f4d611ed489455046c0
