  • V-Ray 5 - now available!

    Hey guys,

    I'm excited to announce that we've just released the official V-Ray 5. The builds are in the usual place.

    All Beta licenses will be suspended. Trials will be reset so you will be able to get 1 month of free testing.

    The Beta 5 forum will be locked as read-only for a couple of weeks before it gets archived. All V-Ray 5 communication will happen in the regular V-Ray for 3ds Max section.

    Please have in mind that all 3rd party plugins won't work properly without V-Ray 5 compatible builds.

    Known VFB2 limitations:
    • VFB2 is still not ready in V-Ray Standalone, so you won't see the buffer while rendering. All images should be outputted as expected.
    • Stereo is not ready
    • Full MaxScript control is yet to be added
