Vray 1.5 Final????

I just received an email the other day telling me that a reseller in my area will be contacting me regarding a new dongle for the future upgrade of Vray 1.5 final. Anyone know what the new upgrade will consist of?

god I just wish we had our dongles period! Frankly I can't think of a good reason everyone shouldn't have dongles by now.

I know. They seem like such an inconvinience. Any word on what Vray 1.5 Final is though? I have 1.5 RC3 and I love it.

afaik, the hold up isn't on chaos's end though, but the dongle manufacturer?

Is there such a thing as 1.5 Final? Are dongles going to be available at Siggraph again this year? Do I really need one?

The dongles were meant for the RC releases. Thats the "new upgrade" they are talking about.

I went and checked it out as well.

It's kind of discouraging to always see the demo one release ahead of what most of us are using though. I'd much rather it be the other way around.

Can't download Max 7.0 version. Get "missing installation file" error message. Tried Max 8.0 version as a test and that will download but that does not help me since I don't have Max 8.0 software. Anyone else having that problem???
