          We'll update the installation on the site this week. Unfortunately the fix reverts back another issue with Hair&Fur where you get a memory leak after each frame in 3ds Max 2013 - this seems to be a problem in the Hair&Fur libraries themselves.

            On self illumination: with bitmaps do we still need to boost output values to make them visible when used with the physical camera?

              Yes. For the VRayLightMtl material there is the "compensate exposure" option, but it's not present in the VRayMtl material.

                    I dont understand quite well this feature, is for matte objects (using MultiMatte) or for integrating 3d on photograph? could you briefly explain please?

                            Vlado -- can "compensate exposure" be added to the VrayMtl? That would be a real time saver when doing Phys Cam work.
