Can u be more specific please, as i dont understand the offer completely. We are in the process of switching from lightscape to a more friendly workprocess. We've tried a few and vray free was among the best price/quality and 20% of would defenatly put it well above no 1. So can we buy it online and if so from where ? is it 20% of the 799 price tag ? do we get accecs to newer builds or even betas ? how many slave-cpus can be used with just 1 license.

Sorry for the many questions, some might have been answered elsewhere it just seemed a good occation to get them all answered.

Same question here... just came back from Siggraph where I spoke to vray guys... and so thay did say 20% off... of 799 I believe.... that's cool... however of order page on vrayrender.com there's no 20% off visible.

usually every year for siggy there is a price drop. as for waiting around for 1.5 to be released. whats the point. if you buy now you still get 1.5 free with your liscence and you will have that much more time to play with vray before 1.5 is released.

Long John, they've already said that bucket rendering in 1.5 will work just like the renderstripes (which is built into max and works fine) does. If you are expecting more (like distributed IRR map calculation or something) than I think you need to move on because it isn't coming

If you purchase vray now that will intitle you to a free upgrade to 1.5 when it is released. It does not matter if its released tommorrow or two months from now. You will get 1.5 for free.

All upgrades after 1.5 will have a fee for the upgrade.
