Didn't Nvidia produce alot of the new 6xxx chips so they couldn't be soft-mod'ed? Seem to remember reading about this right before they came out. Maybe just hype, but by letting people mod the egular geforces into quadros, they're losing out on potential quadro sales. Not that I really care though

yeah i think they say that every time they bring out a new chip.. the geforce fx was supposedly "uncrackable" but unwinder (the guy who makes rivatuner) keeps on workin out how to do it...

if i remember right, the one for the fx chips didnt work so well, never gave you a 100% converted card, but the 6800 one seems to work just fine...
