What I want to see the most in the 1st update is IPR not starting all over again when you draw a region over the same spot. This will save quite a lot of time and wasted CPU power.
Can someone explain why the latest downloads for V-Ray Next for Max, while still marked as 4.20.04, state they are for 10th September 2018, which is only 5 days ago
I downloaded it and the file size for the 4.20.04 I already have is 533,265kb however this latest 10th September one is 533, 281kb, so definitely a new version
Oh and can someone move this from the Announcements section, since it is not an annoucement
The service pack is scheduled for around November, but as usual time frame may change. It does fix a number of issues in the original release - I can't guarantee that all issues that you have are solved, so if you have not reported them, it would be great if you can do that - as well as some new features like improved lens effects, ACEScg support, new things for V-Ray GPU and others.
Thank you.
What about some new features for CPU - fog in IPR CPU, IPR rendering without reinitializing while region change (like in GPU), some fixing of VRayDirt and long time bump problem?
