Errrr is it still coming, or currently there is no plans to support it?

I only need Bercontile, thats only thing I use and it doesnt work. Even with default settings I get a "BerconNoise" error

Our new toon shader will work on the GPU at some point. It is much better than VRayToon.
Awesome, can't wait to try it out!

The first one (fog in IPR) is already implemented in the nightlies.

OSL support on GPU would be big.
This means finally we can use same map tree for CPU/GPU.
3dsMax is already doing OSL > HLSL.

OSL on GPU depends quite a bit on NVidia, who are handling it on their end.

Oh,, nvidia doing OSL for GPU. That's interesting.
It looks like Nvidia really wants renderer market.

Any word on the delivery (or fate) of VFB2?

                    Thank you!

It's still going; it won't be in this first update though. There will be some additions to the existing VFB too.

                      Best regards,
                      Vlado

A bit off-topic (and wrong forum), but the Redshift frame buffer and it's post effects seem to be coming on nicely

I'm perfectly aware of that; I follow your posts on the Redshift forum

Thanks for the response! For me that’s going to be awesome...like a lot of arch viz people these days I rely heavily on frame buffer post processing and not so much on photoshop anymore.

What exactly is the bump problem?

                                best,
Edging artifacts on the smoothed geometry mainly for me.
Also i hopefor some improvement on the shading cutoff on rounded models, right now if you have a round object and you shine direct light on it and bump is on, you get very sharp difference between the part thats lit and par thats in the shadow.
And finally, i could imagine some knowledge exchamge between RL and Chaos when it comes to generally improving bump mapping. I dont know if íta perhaps different filtering or what but if you look at Coronas bump its coming out a lot betterin the renders.
